Los Angeles Lincoln stayed unbeaten in the Northern League on Monday with an 11-1 victory over Eagle Rock.
Freshman Robert Contreras struck out six. Lincoln is 13-5 overall and 8-0 in league.
In a San Fernando tournament game, North Hollywood defeated Van Nuys, 4-1. John Matthews threw a complete game. Carlos Galvez and Eddie Torres had two hits apiece.
In the East Valley League, Gabe Guerra had a double, home run and four RBIs in Verdugo Hills’ 20-0 win over Sun Valley. Poly defeated Arleta, 7-2. Daniel Acosta threw a complete game and had three hits. Josue Moreno added three hits and two RBIs.
In the Century League, Brad Anderson had three hits and four RBIs in Esperanza’s 11-4 win over Foothill.
In a nonleague game, Palos Verdes defeated Crespi, 8-0. Sam Carmack and Carl Aguirre each had three hits.
