Baseball: Luke Eubank continues to dominate on the mound

His name is Luke Eubank, and what a season he is having for Newbury Park High.

He has two no-hitters this season, and he added another shutout on Tuesday, throwing a two-hitter in 4-0 Marmonte League victory over Royal. He struck out nine and walked none. Newbury Park improved to 10-1 overall.

Agoura (9-1-1, 5-0) kept pace with the Panthers and remained unbeaten in league play after a 5-2 win over Moorpark. Preston Rosemont went three for three. Albee Weiss had three RBIs. The Chargers’ defense produced 14 ground-ball outs behind sophomore pitcher Andy Sondreaal.
