Boys’ basketball: Nicholas Stover scores 35 points for Windward

Nicholas Stover, a Loyola Marymount signee, contributed 35 points and had 13 rebounds as L.A. Windward defeated Brentwood, 81-66, in an Alpha League game. Leland King scored 30 points for Brentwood.
Campbell Hall defeated Sierra Canyon, 79-76, in double overtime. Aaron Holiday had 36 points and Cole Huff finished with 23 points, 19 rebounds and 10 blocks.
Etiwanda needed a basket from Sam Flemming with 15 seconds left to pull out a 70-69 win over Upland in a Baseline League game.
Jordan McLaughlin scored 24 points and Dominick Alexander made four three-pointers. Flemming had 13 points.
Muir stayed unbeaten in the Pacific League with an 84-54 win over Burbank Burroughs. Dion Nelson scored 26 points and Jelani Mitchell and Mikey Cockrell had 15 points apiece. Muir is 22-1 and 11-0.
In the Foothill League, Canyon Country Canyon (20-3, 5-2) ended a two-game losing streak with a 67-50 win over Valencia. Clay Kasdorf had 22 points and Coley Apsay 18.
La Verne Lutheran defeated Ribet, 89-60. Eric Cooper scored 20 points and Cameron Osorno 17. Freshman Tyler Dorsey scored 28 points for Ribet.
Calabasas is 20-3 and 10-1 in the Marmonte League after an 81-49 win over Moorpark. Jeremy Lieberman scored 21 points and Spencer Levy 19. Westlake defeated Agoura, 81-63. Quentin Weinerman scored 14 points. Royal defeated Thousand Oaks, 53-51. Max McCoy had 17 points and Scott Woods contributed 10 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks.
