Boys’ basketball: Washington upsets Crespi in Redondo semifinals

Los Angeles Washington has come up with its biggest victory of the season, upsetting unbeaten Encino Crespi, 68-58, in the semifinals of the Redondo tournament.
Isaiah Hicks scored 20 points and Ralph Harvey Jr. 14 for Washington, which will play Torrance Bishop Montgomery in Friday’s final. Bishop Montgomery defeated Los Angeles Price, 70-63.
Crespi (12-1) received 18 points apiece from London Perrantes and Justin Rubia.
In the La Salle-Temple City tournament, Muir defeated Maranatha, 61-58, to advance to the championship game. Jelani Mitchell scored 17 points. Jeremy Major had 33 points for Maranatha. Muir will play Village Christian in the final. The Crusaders defeated St. Francis, 66-54. Marquis Salmon had 16 points.
In the Mt. Carmel tournament, Pasadena defeated Downey, 54-47, to advance to the final. Brandon Jolley scored 24 points.
