It was a struggle all night for Encino Crespi, but the Celts improved to 12-0 by pulling out a 63-58 overtime victory over Redondo in the Redondo tournament. London Perrantes had 21 points, Michael Avery contributed 13 points and Tyler Foreman had a key block in the closing seconds of overtime.

Derek Biale had 22 points for Redondo, which led by 12 points near the end of the second quarter. But Crespi picked up its defensive intensity in the second half and held Biale to four points.

Crespi committed four turnovers in overtime. The Celts got clutch free throws from Avery and Perrantes to close out the victory and will play Washington in the semifinals Thursday at 8:30 p.m.

Isaiah Hicks made a three-point shot at the buzzer to give Washington a 57-54 victory over Marine League rival Narbonne. Ralph Harvey Jr. scored 17 points.

Khalil Johnson scored 24 points in Price’s 83-67 win over West Ranch. Price will play Bishop Montgomery in Thursday’s 7 p.m. semifinal. Bishop Montgomery defeated Fresno Bullard, 60-46. Junior guard Larry Taylor had 15 points. Bishop Montgomery also has an improving 6-11 junior in Stephon Jovanovic, a foreign-exchange student from Serbia who had to play on junior varsity last season because of transfer rules.
