Boys’ golf: Charlie Benell, Troix Tonkham pick colleges

Charlie Benell of Studio City Harvard-Westlake, one of the top golfers in the Mission League, has signed with Texas A&M.

Another local golfer, Troix Tonkham of Sherman Oaks CES, has signed with Fresno State. He won last season’s City Section individual golf title.
