The Southern Section football rankings are out, and Anaheim Servite stays No. 1 despite losing to Las Vegas Bishop Gorman last week. Mission Viejo is No. 2 and Santa Margarita No. 3.
In the Northern Division, Westlake is No. 1 and Canyon Country Canyon No. 2. Oaks Christian is No. 3. I wonder if Oaks Christian beats Westlake on Thursday, will the voters seriously put Canyon No. 1 after Oaks Christian owns wins over Westlake and St. Bonaventure?
Lompoc is 5-0 and ranked No. 1 in the Northwest Division. The Braves have a junior running back, Levon Coleman, who’s having a terrific season. He has rushed for 622 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
