Girls’ basketball: Rialto is getting star treatment

The Rialto girls’ basketball team, headed to Sacramento to play for the state Division II championship, is receiving star treatment, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.

Besides the girls getting a spa treatment courtesy of assistant coaches, they’re scheduled to visit the Capitol building on Thursday hosted by Rialto Mayor Pro Tem Joe Baca Jr.

Rialto faces a tough task going up against Stockton St. Mary’s, winners of the last two state Division III championships.
