Football: Mater Dei scores touchdown, trails Corona Centennial, 44-7

Well, at least it won’t be a shutout.

Mater Dei finally got on the scoreboard, thanks to defensive back John Tavaraz made a 13-yard interception return. The extra point cut the Huskies lead to 44-7 with 8:47 left in the fourth quarter.
