A City Section football player is making his name known during the off season -- Los Angeles Crenshaw offensive guard Marcus Martin.
He has picked up a scholarship offer from UCLA to go along with Washington, Coach Robert Garrett said.
Martin is a 6-foot-4, 340-pound senior-to-be.
‘He has good feet, quick hands and moves well,’ Garrett said.
For Martin to make a move this spring speaks well of Crenshaw’s chances, because the Cougars are loaded at the skill positions.
