Leuzinger hasn’t lost a game since late December, and the Olympians don’t appear ready to break that streak.
They thoroughly outclassed Santa Monica in every facet of the game in taking a 22-5 lead at the end of the first quarter in the Division 1A championship this afternoon at the Honda Center.
Leuzinger closed the quarter on a 19-2 run after the score was tied at 3-3. The Olympians are bidding for their 20th consecutive victory after starting the season 4-6. Guard Colroy Gordon had two three-pointers for Leuzinger in the early going.
