Girls’ basketball: Mater Dei has halftime lead over Santa Monica

Mater Dei (20-1), ranked No. 2 in the Southland by The Times, has a 29-24 halftime lead over No. 7 Santa Monica (16-5) tonight at the Westside Extravaganza at Santa Monica.
Sophomore guard Alexas Williamson has 10 points, including two three-pointers, for Mater Dei. Senior guard Lilly Feder leads Santa Monica with eight points.
