Boys’ basketball: Taft leads Serra 39-32 at halftime

After trailing Woodland Hills Taft by as many as 18 points, Gardena Serra has battled back and trails only 39-32 at halftime in tonight’s feature game of the State Preview Classic at Fairfax High.

De Andre Daniels has 20 points so far for No. 8 Taft, which scored the first nine points and led 23-11 after the first quarter. Vaughn Autry has 10 points for No. 4 Serra.
