There’s a reason Edison linebacker Jordan Zumwalt has scholarship offers from USC and UCLA. He has become the best hitter in Southern California, and it was his hit that produced a Lakewood fumble in the fourth quarter and set up a six-yard touchdown run by Wade Houston with 4:23 left, and Edison has taken a 37-23 lead.
Edison got the ball back when linebacker Zumwalt applied a vicious hit on Terrance Woods, knocking the ball out of his hands, with Kris Bonham recovering on the Lakewood 39.
