Marc Millan caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Dallin McEwen with 47 seconds left, bringing Mission Viejo to within 19-18 of Servite. The Diablos called timeout and decided to go for two points.

But a McEwen pass fell incomplete. Servite has the lead.

Mission Viejo took over the ball on its own 21 with 2:49 left down, 19-12.

Jake Marshall twice brought back Mission Viejo from the brink of defeat. He picked up five yards on a fourth-and-two situation from the Mission Viejo 29. And he made a diving 36-yard pass reception on third-and-10 from the Mission Viejo 34, with the ball sticking in his stomach and knocking the wind out of him.
