Baseball: Arleta sends a message

There was a Thanksgiving baseball tournament in Ventura County over the weekend, and Arleta went 3-0, led by junior pitchers Javier Lopez and Ivan Ceja and junior shortstop Erik Trujillo, who went five for nine in victories over Simi Valley, Oxnard and Hueneme.

Chatsworth went 2-1, including a win over Hueneme and ace pitcher Jesus Valdez. The Chancellors will be relying on junior pitchers Christian Lopez, Aaron Brown and Angel Rodriguez.
