After Notre Dame went three-and-out on its first possession, Mission Viejo began its first drive at its own 44-yard line and needed 10 plays to get into the end zone. Jake Marshall dove over the pile on 4th-and-goal from the 1-yard line and Eric Harris added the point-after kick with 5:09 left in the first quarter.
