Bishop Amat was on the verge of seizing control of this Pac-5 Division quarterfinal.
Already having scored the last 17 points, the Lancers had the ball first and goal at the Lakewood 10-yard line and eventually reached the three.
But Bishop Amat decided to go for a field goal on fourth-and-goal, and Alex Ragsdale pulled a 20-yard attempt wide right. Bishop Amat still holds a 17-13 lead late in the third quarter.
