Bishop Amat forced a fumble when one of its defenders hit Lakewood quarterback Jesse Scroggins, causing him to lose the ball.
Lineman Dominic Alberico recovered and Bishop Amat took over at the Lakewood 25-yard line but its drive stalled and Alex Ragsdale had to kick a 37-yard field goal to trim Lakewood’s lead to 13-10 with 4:40 left in the second quarter.
