Football: Servite maintains lead over LB Poly

The defenses have taken control, with no scoring in the third quarter, but Anaheim Servite is driving and holding a 16-7 lead over Long Beach Poly after three quarters in a season opener at Veterans Stadium that has close to 10,000 fans in attendance.

Servite has the ball on Poly’s five-yard line with a chance to really clinch a victory the way its defense has been playing.
