Baseball: Poly threatens Matzek but comes up empty

Riverside Poly’s Chris Joranco hit a one-out double in the third inning off Capistrano Valley pitcher Tyler Matzek.

But Matzek turned up the heat and struck out Chris Rabago and Blair Moore on 3-and-2 counts. Capistrano Valley still leads, 1-0, after three innings.
