Rancho Verde turns out the light on Knight in Division II-A

It’s a wrap in the Division II-A final. Rancho Verde doesn’t let up after its big second quarter and goes on to defeat Knight, 62-51, at Honda Center.

Mike Snaer scored 22 points to lead the top-seeded Mustangs, including 12 in the deciding second quarter, and Kwame Alexander had 13. I’ve never heard some many people cheer for a guy named Kwame.

Paul George scored 29 points for the fifth-seeded Hawks, including 22 in the second half, but that scoreless second quarter really hurt their chances.

On to Division II-AA!
