Compton: Man, 45, stabbed

Alvaro Munoz, a 45-year-old Latino, was stabbed to death in a mobile home in the 1700 block of North Santa Fe Avenue on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, in Compton, according to coroner’s records.
Munoz, of Compton, was pronounced dead taken at a hospital.
Sheriff’s Department detectives have identified Alfredo Miranda, a 34- to 36-year-old Latino man, as a person of interest.
Miranda lived where Munoz was killed, and police say his whereabouts are unknown.
