Lemparia Hernandez, 52, a Latino man, was found dead, stabbed in the chest, along the railroad tracks near the interesection of 117th Street and Figueroa Street in LAPD’s Southeast Division, near where the 105 and 110 freeways meet. His time of death was listed as 9:44 a.m. Friday, April 6.
Police said the man lived along the tracks under a ramp for the 105 Freeway with a group of Central American and Mexican immigrants, according to Southeast Det. Jason De La Cova. They all drank together. The killing followed a dispute over beer, detectives said. Arrested was 27-year-old Eliseo Ramos, a Latino man. (Above, the scene.)
