Oregon State is making a play to further shake up the Pacific Life Pac-10 men’s basketball tournament.
With second-seeded Arizona State falling earlier Thursday evening, Oregon State is threatening to knock off third-seeded Washington. Guard Jared Cunningham has nine points and center Roeland Schaftenaar eight for the Beavers, who are leading the Huskies, 31-22, at halftime of a quarterfinal at Staples Center.
Oregon State has made six of nine three-point shots.
