Danica Patrick made an appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ to announce, among other things, her return to the Indy Racing League for at least three more years. She did not address her potential move to NASCAR and joining Dale Earnhardt Jr.‘s Nationwide Series team.
Jimmie Johnson, the recently crowned NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, started a weeklong tour of the West Coast by visiting his childhood elementary school in El Cajon and awarding grants from his foundation to 11 schools in the San Diego area.
Two drivers going in two different directions. But both staying extremely busy, perhaps a little too busy for Patrick.
Even though she didn’t talk about her plans to enter the NASCAR arena, a photo of her on her website shows her wearing a firesuit with a Chevy and JR Motorsports logos.
Go to Haddock in the Paddock for more on Patrick and Johnson’s busy day.
