[UPDATE BELOW]
Less than an hour after President Obama dramatically left a golf course in Hawaii to return to his rented vacation home followed by an ambulance, the President is heading back to the links.
An administration official confirmed that a child of someone the President was golfing with was hurt in a ‘run of the mill beach injury’ that will require stitches.
The official said that Obama knows that when a child is hurt, a parent wants to be with the child as soon as possible. Now, activities are back to normal.
Said White House spokesman Bill Burton: ‘The First Family is fine.’
UPDATE: The injured child did not require stitches after all.
