FCC rings up Verizon, demands explantion of hike in early-termination fee

Federal regulators today reached out and touched Verizon for some answers regarding the company’s recent decision to double early termination fees for some customers.
The Federal Communications Commission also asked Verizon in a letter to explain why it charges customers for accidentally dialing up the company’s Mobile Web service by inadvertently pressing a pre-programmed button on their Verizon cellphones.
