As Justin Timberlake continues his push for award-season glory and puts film at the forefront of his career, he has an ally in costar Mila Kunis.
Timberlake himself recently admitted to The Times that he’s ‘obviously not the best actor,’ but Kunis begs to differ.
‘I think he’s one of the more talented people I’ve ever worked with,’ she told the Ministry on Thursday, celebrating her Nylon magazine cover at a dinner in Hollywood hosted by Armani Exchange.
‘I have confidence in him [as an actor], I think he’s smart, talented and has so much more to show the world.’
Timberlake and Kunis get hot and heavy in their upcoming comedy ‘Friends With Benefits,’ about a platonic pair who use each other for sex devoid of emotional attachment -- or so they think.
Kunis is no stranger to comedy, given her breakout was ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ opposite Jason Segel. She held her own with the laughs, but finds drama easier to handle.
‘When you have 19-, 20-hour days, you get loopy,’ she said. ‘You think the work is funny because you’re tired ... it might not be that funny a year later on the screen.’
We’ll see what happens in July, when ‘Benefits’ hits theaters.
