You oughta know: Alanis Morissette is pregnant

We’ve deemed singer Alanis Morissette the most efficient future mommy celebrity of the day.

Why, you ask?

Well, she must have known that it was only a matter of time before the gossip magazines reported that she and new hubby, rapper Mario “Souleye” Treadway, were expecting a visit from the stork. So she cut out the middlemen and announced her pregnancy herself in Us Weekly’s “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” column.

Her years of experience at making sure the audience stays through the encore must be why she saved that factoid for last, below items like her love of red wine and being on airplanes but not so much for public recognition (we assume she means getting recognized on the street and not that she’s against the praise and support of her fans). Either that or maybe these are things she came up with while waiting for her EPT results to come in. Those things do take a couple minutes to show results ...
