When I was 23, I had a little Rainer Maria Rilke on my bookshelf. Lady Gaga has a little on her arm.
Different strokes, right?
The flamboyant pop singer made a rare bare appearance (i.e., sans hat, shades, mask) on a German talk show recently, providing lots of full-frontal face for curious fans.
The no-doubt weighty content included discussion of her Rilke tattoo, which is a topic worth addressing often.
Not that she never goes out with her face showing -- it’s just not her usual M.O.
