Federal investigators were trying to determine Monday what caused a deadly helicopter explosion in Corona.
The helicopter landed around 11 p.m. Sunday to refuel at Corona Municipal Airport, KTLA-TV reported.
The helicopter exploded during the refueling, killing at least one person, the station reported. The victim had not been identified.
The explosion reportedly sent shrapnel from the chopper flying, even penetrating some hangars.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration were investigating.
