Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend faces a charge of battery after a Thanksgiving Day altercation at the actress’ Hollywood Hills home.
Gabriel Aubry, who has a daughter with the Academy Award-winning actress, is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 13.
He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after police responded to a call saying he had gotten into a fistfight with Berry’s fiance, French actor Olivier Martinez, Los Angeles Police Officer Julie Boyer said.
Aubry was arrested and taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was treated for facial wounds, and then was booked at the LAPD’s downtown jail, Boyer said. He was released Friday after posting $20,000 bail, she said.
The motive for the fight was not clear.
