For anyone who expects to spend more time at the mall than he or she would care to this holiday season, here’s a reason to be less disgruntled about the park-and-shop rigmarole: Beverly Hills-based Madame Chocolat and New York-based Jacques Torres Chocolate have popped up at the Westfield Shopping Center in Century City.
Jacques Torres and Madame Chocolat owner Hasty Torres (the two are literally Mr. and Mrs. Chocolate -- they’re married) teamed with House of Balsamic to set up a holiday chocolate stand. Among the goods: chocolate Santas and snowmen, bonbons, chocolate-coated pretzels and Cheerios, chocolate spoons (pictured above) and hot chocolate mix.
Open this week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Next week’s hours are 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Christmas Eve, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Westfield Shopping Center, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Century City.
