Watch UCLA gymnast Sophina DeJesus Whip, Nae Nae and Dab to victory
The UCLA women’s gymnastics team has got that floor-exercise swag.
Senior Sophina DeJesus’ first floor routine of the season on Saturday featured the Whip, the Nae Nae and finished with a Dab. It’s a must-watch routine and DeJesus’ first of the season.
After a tumbling pass, DeJesus breaks out the moves to the joy of the audience and her teammates, who appear dancing in the video behind her, as do members of the crowd.

DeJesus scored a 9.925 which helped No. 5 UCLA defeat No. 7 Utah, 197.100-197.075.
The Bruins average the highest scores in the Pac-12 on the floor exercise, but DeJesus’ pop-culture inspired moves aren’t the only unique routine being performed by the Bruins.
Senior Danusia Francis’ exercise includes the James Bond theme, and at one point she “shoots†the audience.
Junior Angi Cipra’s music choice for her routine incorporates the default iPhone ringtone midway through her exercise.
The phone rings and the gymnast turns to looks for the culprit in the crowd. Was it you?
UCLA hits the floor once again this Saturday when it hosts Oregon State at Pauley Pavilion.
