Seahawks’ Richard Sherman trash talks Tom Brady on Twitter
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman had words for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on the field during the game Sunday, on the sidelines immediately following the game and on Twitter hours after the game.
Sherman intercepted a Brady pass attempt in the third quarter after he had told Brady all game that he would do so.
“I kept saying I’m going to get that next time. Every TV timeout, I went up and said it right to [Brady]: ‘Please keep trying me. I’m going to take it from you.’ That was when they were winning,†Sherman said, according to the Tacoma News Tribune. “He just gave me that look and said, ‘Oh, I’ll see you after game.’ Well, I made sure I saw him after the game.â€
The Seahawks scored 14 points in the final 7:31 to stun the Patriots at home, 24-23.
Sherman tracked down Brady after the game, and later posted a bevy of tweets aimed at Brady and Patriots fans.
