Metta World Peace releases children’s book, ‘Metta’s Bedtime Stories’
Metta World Peace has released a children’s book entitled “Metta’s Bedtime Stories.â€
Available via createspace.com, “Metta’s Bedtime Stories†was “written to help children think about daily events in a positive light.â€
World Peace, formerly Ron Artest, has played the last four seasons with the Lakers -- winning his first title in 2010 against the Boston Celtics.
Outside of basketball, World Peace is a spokesman for mental health, currently collaborating with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health with his “Talk It Out†campaign.
His children’s book includes five stories: “I’m Afraid of the Dark,†“Mud in My Bed,†“One Wish,†“Reach for the Sky†and “Tomorrow.â€
“These stories will show everyone that you can always have a better day tomorrow, if you have a hopeful heart and keep positive thoughts,†according to createspace.com.
World Peace authored the book with help from Heddrick McBride along with illustrations by HH Pax.
