Million-dollar swimsuit: Miss Universe dons a ‘simple’ 200-carat suit
Venezuela’s Gabriela Isler on Sunday performed her first duty as the newly crowned Miss Universe,
modeling a “simple†swimsuit worth $1 million.
Isler, 25, in Moscow posed in the cut-out costume that came studded with 200 carats of emeralds, rubies and diamonds, and its own armed guard.
“It’s very simple but very elegant, so it’s like me,†Isler said of the suit designed by Italian lingerie company Yamamay.

Isler on Saturday beat out contestants from 85 other countries to win the crown at the 62nd annual pageant, which for the first time was held in Moscow.
The Yamamay swimsuit, which took three months to make, was revealed onstage during Saturday’s Miss Universe pageant.
It’s unclear whether the one-of-kind suit will be up for sale. But we’d rather wait for the one-piece knock-off.
