Nearly 100-year-old ‘rare’ bicycle stolen from Lancaster home
Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials are asking for the public’s help in finding a “rare and valuable bicycle†stolen earlier this year from a Lancaster home.
The bicycle, an almost century-old Indian Deluxe, was stolen March 4, authorities said. The red bike was made between 1914 and 1917 and was in “excellent condition†when it was stolen, according to authorities.
“The exact value of the bicycle is not known, however it is priceless to its owner,†said the Lancaster station’s burglary suppression team, which is handling the case.
Anyone who has seen the bicycle or has any information is asked to call the Lancaster sheriff’s station at (661) 948-8466. Anonymous calls can be made to L.A. Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
