Man stabbed in neck at Americana at Brand parking lot in Glendale
A man was hospitalized Wednesday night after he was stabbed in the neck in the parking lot of the Americana at Brand in Glendale, police said.
Just before 7 p.m., officers were called to the basement level of the structure, where the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck after a disagreement, according to Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.
The men knew each other, though details on their relationship were not immediately available.

The first officer on scene, who participated in tactical medical training last week, packed the wound with gauze before the victim was transported to the hospital. The injuries were not life-threatening.
Police were working on locating the suspect, who fled the scene.
According to Lightfoot, the stabbing was “not a random act.â€
