Los Angeles police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who has robbed two cellphone stores in El Sereno at gunpoint since last week.

The man is described as a Latino between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 220 pounds. His arms are covered in tattoos, including a Japanese demon with horns on his right shoulder and a large “LA†on his right elbow.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

The first robbery occurred on Sept. 5 just before 1 p.m. in the 4600 block of Huntington Drive. Police say the man ran inside with a gun, jumped over the counter, took the money from the register and ordered the employees to the back of the store. He also took their money before fleeing.
