Israel Lopez then turned the gun on Rafael Aguilar-Rodriguez, 22, who was visiting the home in the 3300 block of Hunter Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
When police arrived at the house, Israel Lopez was taken into custody without incident and detectives believe they recovered the weapon used in the killings.
Prosecutors charged Israel Lopez with the crimes in November of last year.
