‘Gangnam Style’s’ Psy dances into Westwood condo
In the L.A. housing market, “gangnam style†appears to lose some of its trend-setting meaning in the translation.
Psy, the South Korean musician of “Gangnam Style†video fame, and his wife, Hye-yeon Yoo, have bought a place in a 1989 building in Westwood for $1.249 million.
The Blair House condo features city views, high ceilings, a den, a balcony, two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The contemporary complex offers a saltwater swimming pool, a tennis court, a gym, a doorman and concierge services.
The singer-songwriter-rapper, 34, is the first user to exceed 1 billion views on YouTube.
The property last changed hands in 1999 for $950,000, public records show.
Jane Siegal of Coldwell Banker’s Beverly Hills North office and Holly Davis of the Pacific Palisades office were the listing agents. Veronica Lee of Realty One Group represented Psy.
