“Sunset & Dineâ€: The second annual Sunset & Dine dinner and a movie event will take place Thursday at Academy Hollywood, the outdoor amphitheater on the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences campus. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. more than 15 Los Angeles-based food and wine vendors will sample items including K&L Wines and the newly opened Stella Barra. There will also be a screening of the film “Sunset Boulevard.†Tickets are on sale now at www.sunsetanddine.org, and proceeds from the event will benefit local charities. 6322 DeLongpre Ave., Hollywood, www.sunsetanddine.org.

Mo-Chica’s OG menu: Chef Ricardo Zarate is offering an “OG Tasting Dinner†every Tuesday at Mo-Chica from 5:30 to 10 p.m. The prix fixe menu will feature Peruvian dishes from the original Mercado de la Paloma location, such as tomato and burrata salad, monkfish liver, scallops and yellowtail ceviche, quinoa risotto, and tres leches cake, for $27 a person. “Yes, Chef†paperback debut: Chef Marcus Samuelsson will be celebrating the paperback version of his New York Times bestseller and James Beard award-winning cookbook, “Yes, Chef,†on June 19 at 7 p.m. The event will be hosted by chefs Sang Yoon and Sherry Yard with cocktails from Father’s Office, desserts from Sherry Yard and a menu by Yoon. The ticket price is $55 a person; the book will be sold separately at the event. 8760 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles.
