Viewed optimistically, these Pride Month items are a chance for brands to support equal rights, though cynics may see these efforts as just another chance to sell more stuff. In most instances, these brands are often adding philanthropic kickbacks to their themed collections, which feature hopeful designs on pieces ranging from sneakers to graphic T-shirts.
Despite the upbeat and colorful nature of these LGBTQ-themed collections, pride celebrations nationwide appear to be taking a serious tone in response to the current global political climate. (
