Donald Trump isn’t going anywhere any time soon — but Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump on “Saturday Night Live That’s a limited engagement.

“I’m going to do it again this weekend, but not all that often,†Baldwin told Vanity Fair on Thursday at the American Museum of Natural History’s annual gala in New York.

Seems the Baldwins have a life, his wife Hilaria explained.

“When he does ‘SNL,’ it takes a big chunk out of [the weekend] because you’re up so late, and then it eats into the next day,†she said. “And for us, with little kids, it’s hard.â€

The Baldwins’ third baby, Leonardo, arrived this past September. Carmen is 3, and Rafael is almost 1½.

As for any speculation about why Kate McKinnon went solo as Hillary Clinton for the “SNL†cold open following the election, it turns out that Baldwin — a Clinton supporter who has been vocal on social media about his dislike of Trump, both before and after the election — wasn’t making any kind of political statement with his absence.

“I was booked that weekend,†he said. “Not even other jobs; we have things to do.â€
