A day after giving a series order for a Michael Bay-produced drama, TNT announced it has greenlit the spy drama “Legends,†from “Homeland†producer Howard Gordon.

The suspense series is based on the book by spy novelist Robert Littell, who is already part of the TNT family -- his CIA novel “The Company†served as the basis of the network’s 2007 miniseries.

Gordon will serve as an executive producer along with Alexander Cary (“Homeland,†“Lie to Meâ€) and Jonathan Levin (“Charmedâ€), as well as showrunners Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris (the creators of ‘Sleeper Cell.â€)

The Turner-owned network has ordered 10 episodes of the series, which is set to roll out next year.
