Jimmy Fallon kicked off his reign as the new host of “The Tonight Show†on Monday in the same Rockefeller Center studio where Jack Paar hosted the show in 1957. And as part of the celebration of bringing the show back to New York City, a parade of stars stepped out to welcome Fallon to his new, more high-profile, gig.

Fallon appeared thrilled beyond belief that he’d finally achieved that boyhood dream of hosting “The Tonight Show,†and during a segment at his new desk, he wanted an unnamed friend from his past to pay up on the $100 bet they had once made about if he would ever actually host “The Tonight Show.â€

And then, lo and behold, that friend revealed himself to be Robert DeNiro. And Tina Fey. And Joe Namath. One by one, they popped out from behind the blue curtain to deposit their $100 on Fallon’s desk.

Other celebs paying their respects included former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, Mariah Carey, Tracy Morgan, Joan Rivers, Kim Kardashian, Seth Rogen, Lindsay Lohan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mike Tyson, Lady Gaga, and last, but not least, Fallon’s late-night rival Stephen Colbert.

Colbert’s payout was not as good natured as the rest, as he brought a bucket of pennies to dump over Fallon’s head.

“Welcome to 11:30... bitch!†Colbert yelled.
