A&E denies report that three were dropped from ‘Storage Wars’ cast
“Storage Wars†will be back for a fifth season, but not with all of its stars, according to a report on Radar Online.
Citing unnamed sources, the website reports that three members of the A&E reality show’s cast, Dan and Laura Dotson and Darrell Sheets, will be featured in a reduced number of episodes in the upcoming season.
The reason, the report says, is related to the lawsuit filed against A&E and “Storage Wars†production company Original Productions by fellow cast member Dave Hester, who alleged that large sections of the program are faked after he was dropped from the show.

Now the report says the same thing is happening to the Dotsons and Sheets, who will appear in some but not all the episodes in the new season.
However, A&E is denying the report. Though the network did not respond to a request for comment from The Times, it told TVGuide.com, “Not every cast member appears in every episode of the series, but but there is no truth to the report that any other members have been dropped.â€
The series follows professional buyers who attempt to purchase items put up for auction from storage lockers that have fallen behind in their payments. The show has been a ratings success for the channel, and has resulted in two spin-off series, “Storage Wars: Texas†and “Storage Wars: New York.â€
The show’s fourth season is airing on A&E.
