ABC announces fall premiere dates for ‘The Muppets,’ ‘Scandal’ and more
ABC on Wednesday announced the fall premiere dates for its 2015-16 season, which includes returning hits “Scandal,†“How to Get Away With Murder†and “Modern Family†as well as new shows “The Muppets†and “Dr. Ken.â€
In a change from the schedule announced at its upfront presentation last month in New York, ABC has pulled the Biblical epic “Of Kings and Prophets†from Sunday nights at 10 p.m. and replaced it with the FBI thriller “Quantico.â€
In “Quantico’s†original place on Tuesdays at 10 p.m., it will air “Wicked City,†a 1980s-set crime series originally slated for midseason, beginning Oct. 27.
In another minor tweak, ABC has once again changed the title of the Don Johnson-starring, North Dakota-set drama formerly known as “Boom†and “Oil†to “Blood & Oil.†It will air Sundays at 9 p.m., beginning Sept. 27.
The network is holding several shows, including “The Catch,†the latest from executive producer Shonda Rhimes, and feature adaptation “Uncle Buck†for midseason.
